Fr David Cobb, Rector of Christ Church

Fr David Cobb is the rector of Christ Church, New Haven, where he has served since 2003. He is a graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood in the Diocese of Alabama, where he served as clergy in charge in Carlowville and as curate in Selma. He previously was rector of Old St. Paul’s in Baltimore, of St Christopher’s in Oak Park, IL, and curate at Church of our Saviour in Chicago. At present, he is working on a revision of the St. Augustine Prayer Book for the Order of the Holy Cross, is the Convener of the Society of Catholic Priests of the Episcopal Church, and on the board of the Society for the Increase of the Ministry (SIM).  He is married to Ruth, the Director of Admissions and Alumni Relations at St. Thomas Choir School, New York, and they have three children.


Fr Robert Hendrickson, Program Director

Fr Robert Hendrickson  is the program director of the St. Hilda's House young adult residential internship program and the Ascension House new clergy training program and curate at Christ Church New Haven.  He is also the missioner for Ascension Church in the Hill/Iglesia de la Ascensión (a parochial mission parish of Christ Church). He received his Master's in Divinity from the General Theological Seminary in 2009 and was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Connecticut in January 2011.  He has also worked with the Ecumenical Office of the Episcopal Church and is a co-founder of the Society of Catholic Priests of the Episcopal Church.  Previously, he studied at the University of Mississippi, Cornell University, and Beijing Foreign Studies University.  He also worked as the Communications Manager for Brooks Brothers.  He is married to Dr Karrie Cummings Hendrickson who is a professor in New Haven.


Elizabeth Costello, Program Assistant

Elizabeth Costello is an STM Candidate in theology at Berkley / Yale Divinity School, Candidate for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, and co-founding missioner of the Community of the Franciscan Way (an Episcopal ‘intentional Christian community’ dedicated to practicing the works of mercy among the homeless in Durham, NC).  She received her Master of Divinity from the Anglican/Episcopal House of Studies at Duke Divinity School in 2009 and has since served as a Community Coordinator in the Department of Housing and Residential Education at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, a Youth Worker at St. Peter & St. Paul (Church of England) in Great Missenden (Buckinghamshire, UK), a Support Worker for homeless clients with complex needs at Two Saints Homeless Hostel in Oxford (Oxfordshire, UK), and most recently as a Director of Christian Formation at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Burlington, NC.


Joseph Wolyniak, Seminarian Intern

Joseph Wolyniak is a DPhil Candidate in theology at the University of Oxford.  Previously, Joseph taught religion and ethics at High Point University (High Point, NC) and served as a Chapel Lector at St. John's College (Oxford), Advocacy Coordinator with the Franciscan Coalition for Justice and Peace (Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province, NYC), and Chaplain's Assistant at Raleigh Episcopal Campus Ministry (Raleigh, NC).  He is an aspirant to Holy Orders in the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina and will accordingly be interning with St. Hilda's during the 2012-2013 academic year.
